The Lafayette Square Area Coalition Board is comprised of business people and citizens from this community who have a dedication to the mission, a vision for the Lafayette Square district, and a willingness to contribute their time and resources to these ends.

LSAC MEETINGS FOR 2008

The 2008 meetings will be held the last Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at Westview Healthplex Sports Club, 3660 Guion Road, 2nd floor conference room.

Board of Directors Election
The Bylaws of the Lafayette Square Area Coalition require an Annual Meeting be held every May to elect members to the Board of Directors. Nominations will be accepted at the March and April meetings for inclusion on the ballot; nominations may also be mailed to the Coalition care of Emily Biehn, National City Bank, 5300 Crawfordsville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46224. Nominees must agree to serve before having their name placed on ballot. Deadline for nominations is May 5.

Each candidate will have up to two minutes to speak at the Annual Meeting before the vote.

Only members in good standing (paid as of May 27) will be able to vote. Each paid member has one vote; corporate members receive one vote.

Members may vote for up to ten (10) candidates to serve on the board. The five candidates with the most votes will be elected for a two-year term; the remaining five candidates will be elected for a one-year term. If there is a tie for the 10th position, there will be a run-off vote the same day. The new board of directors will then elect the officers at the next board meeting in June.
