OUR COMMITEES

Finance Committee – (Chair pending)
This committee oversees the expenditure of Coalition funds and compiles monthly financial reports.
Land Use Committee - Cynthia Bowen, Chair
This committee identifies land use issues on which the Coalition should focus. It identifies infrastructure needs and needed property improvements. This committee also monitors zoning activities and works with the City’s economic development activities to promote the area to existing and potential businesses.
Membership Committee - Bob Snelling, Chair
In addition to promoting membership, this committee compiles and maintains lists of all businesses, property owners and other important individuals and organizations in the community. It also organizes the monthly meetings of the Coalition.
Public Relations/Marketing – Judy Donner, Chair
This committee creates all collateral for the Coalition. It monitors the media and prepares news releases and other publicity for events and Coalition activities.
Special Events - (Chair pending)
This committee organizes events to publicize the Coalition and the benefits of living, working and shopping in the area.  These events include the annual international parade, Taste the Difference and an event to showcase international music and dance.
