Cultural Parade

Dancers. Music. Costumes. You’ll see it all when the first cultural parade comes to Lafayette Road in October. Starting at Lafayette Square Mall and ending at Wal-Mart, the parade will be a very visual representation of all the cultural the neighborhood has to offer.

Taste the Difference

Visit the Lafayette Square area during October and get a “taste” of what our ethnically diverse community has to offer.
From October 20 – 26, restaurants in the area will entice you to sample food from around the world when they feature a variety of foods at special lunch and dinner prices.
This is a sample of the countries whose food will be featured in 2008’s Taste the Difference:

- Indian (India Palace, Mughal Cuisine)

Taste the Difference celebrates diversity in Indianapolis and unites the community through food and fun. Come out to see what the excitement is all about, and to experience some great new cultures.
